Leon Brown Stays Away from Sister Wives Drama
After years of being ignored and humiliated by her former husband, Meri Brown started to clap back at him. In Season 19, she even got her segment where she could rant away to her heart’s content.
And her offspring, Leon Brown isn’t trying to silence her. Actually, they say very little at all these days.
Audrey Kriss and Leon Brown definitely seem to keep out of the limelight since they moved to Denver, Colorado. And, with all the drama going on with the Sister Wives show, fans don’t blame them for a minute.
According to Leon’s mom, Kody Brown stopped acting as a husband to her years ago. And, that can’t be easy for her or her adult child.
Kody Brown Threw His Child Out With The Bathwater?
By now, most Sister Wives fans realize that the TLC patriarch always referred to his children as belonging to their mothers. Remember, he called Garrison, Janelle’s child.
So, it’s not that he confined his stance to Leon Brown. But things were more toxic for longer with Meri Brown than with Janelle Brown.

Kody’s Disregard for Leon….First of all, I realize it’s a show…and I hope that Kody isn’t actually this cruel in reality. However …he keeps making comments about how marrying Meri was a mistake…But when he makes statements about wishing he’d never married Meri, he’s discounting Leon’s whole existence. If he had never married Meri, their child wouldn’t exist…It just seems cruel—not only to Meri, but also Leon..without grace for Meri as the mother of his child.

In the discussion, TLC fans mentioned that it hadn’t really occurred to them. But probably, that’s because Leon Brown stays really quiet these days. Here are some opinions:
- This is 100% on point. It didn’t even occur to me until you just said it…It breaks my heart the way that Kody acts like the majority of his children don’t exist anymore. Especially after losing Garrison. One would think it would be a wake up call.
- I think that he rejects Meri in a way like a proxy for Leon. Like he’s not comfortable with Leon and wants to distance himself from [them], so he throws the baby out with the bath water. Kills two birds with one stone.
- I have a strong suspicion he’s been discounting Leon’s whole existence for years now.
