Kody and Robyn Brown, the last couple standing on the popular polygamy-focused reality show “Sister Wives,” are on the move once again, listing their 4,476-square-foot Flagstaff, AZ, cabin for $1.65 million.
The property holds many memories—both happy and sad—for the duo, who purchased the 2-acre property for $890,000 back in 2019, when they were still involved in a relationship with Kody’s three other “sister wives,” Janelle, Mari, and Christine.
However, in the years since they moved into the home, Kody has seen his romances with each of those three women fall apart in a very messy and public way, leaving him and Robyn, who is his only legal wife, as the cabin’s sole residents.
But that’s not to say that the five-bedroom, four-bathroom property isn’t still a bone of contention between Kody and his former sister wives.
It seems some of Kody’s ex-wives invested in the house, as well as a larger property in nearby Coyote Pass, with the intent of one day building a giant compound for the whole family to reside in.
“We buy the house, we build on Coyote Pass, you move into that house, we rent this house,” Kody was seen telling his spouses in an episode of the show that first ran in 2022.
Now that three of the sister wives have gone their separate ways, they want their share of the investment back, according to the trailer for Season 19 of the TLC series, which premieres on Sept. 15.
“The property needs to be paid off,” one of the wives is heard saying in the dramatic trailer.
“I’ve actually thought about asking if he wants to buy me out,” Janelle is then seen telling Christine. “But we’ve got to pay it off, and he’s not talking to me about it, so I think I’m going to have to lawyer up.”
The controversy over the property’s ownership leaves Kody in a furious rage, with the reality star describing the situation as “such a teenage drama,” while his remaining wife Robyn admits: “I feel like the idiot that got left behind.”
