‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Are We In Store For MAJOR Catfight As Nina Confronts Ava Over Outing Blaze And Kristina?
‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that no love has been lost between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). The two women, former BFFs, are no longer each other’s most trusted confidants.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Blaze Is The Face Of Deception And Crimson’s Biggest Advertiser
That’s because Ava basically tricked Nina into signing divorce papers, dissolving a few short months of marriage between her and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). That’s when Nina washed her hands of Ava and walked away.
Nina told Ava they could still work together and that Crimson would feature one of Ava’s new artists for the gallery. But Nina backed out of their agreement and decided to use the magazine space for another feature story. Ava wasn’t too pleased, to say the least.
We can only imagine the catfight that’s about to go down when Nina confronts Ava over outing Blaze (aka Allison Rogers, played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis‘s (Kate Mansi) relationship, and causing a major scandal at Nina’s other business venture, the Invader.
Even though she and Sonny are no longer husband and wife, Nina still cares about Kristina. Kristina was among the few people in Sonny’s orbit who supported his marriage to Nina.
Blaze is the face of Deception cosmetics, and Deception is Crimson’s biggest advertiser. The recording Ava gave Nina’s editor-in-chief, Adrian DeWitt (Dieterich Gray), was very damaging to Deception.
Once everyone heard the truth about how Blaze’s mother, Natalia Rogers Rameriez (Eva LaRue), felt about gay people and Blaze’s same-sex relationship with Kristina, Blaze became a liability for the cosmetics company.
Needless to say, Nina isn’t happy with Ava at all. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if the two women exchanged words and perhaps had an altercation that would turn physical sometime in the near future.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Will Defend Her Behavior And Blame Natalia
It will start with Nina wanting to know the circumstances surrounding the recording of Natalia, but Ava likely won’t feel compelled to give her any helpful answers.
Of course, Nina will lay into Ava for outing a gay woman who is in the public eye. It should be her choice when she is ready. Also, Ava hurt Kristina in the process. Nina may be a liar and a schemer, but Ava can be downright cruel.
Granted, Ava didn’t intend to hurt anyone except Natalia to get back at Sonny. However, she ruined two blossoming careers because of her reckless choice. And now, Nina’s ready to go up against the martini-swilling lush.
Ava will defend her behavior, claiming Natalia’s words on the recording caused so much pain and that she deserved to be exposed.
While it’s true that Natalia is a bigot, intolerant, and not exactly the poster girl for political correctness, Ava wanted to drive a wedge between Natalia and Sonny and chose a very nasty way to go about it.
The recording was a PR disaster, and it doesn’t paint Deception or the Invader in a positive light. We think Nina may have had enough of Ava and goes after her. Nina may even slap Ava first.
The two formidable and headstrong women would have a very entertaining catfight.
