GH Spoilers: Will Jason’s Plan To Protect Carly Cost Him His Son?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) hasn’t been happy with Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return from day one.
Learning he was still alive after more than two years of believing he was dead was a hard pill to swallow. But finding out it was his choice to stay away was even more difficult for Sam — who couldn’t fathom what could voluntarily keep Jason away from his children.
Now that she knows it was his desire to protect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — no matter the personal cost to everyone else who loves him — Sam is certain she doesn’t want Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to have anything to do with his father. There’s just one problem. Her warnings will be heard too late.
General Hospital Spoilers — Danny Morgan Is At Risk
Most of the fans relished watching Carly lay into Sam over this last week. Sure, any one of us would likely be as ticked as Sam is if this happened to us or our children in real life. But in the land of Port Charles, Jason and Carly’s love comes first — and Sam was being a hypocrite.
Carly served her up a nice reminder that she used to love Jason and was desperate to have a child with him.
Now that Sam has changed her mind about how comfortable she is with Jason’s lifestyle, she expects that he should just opt out of his son’s life. Isn’t it ironic that’s what she’s claiming she’s mad at him for though?
GH Spoilers – Suggest Sam McCall Isn’t the Only Threat
Although Sam may be concerned that Jason’s world is far too dangerous for a child to live in, she’s not winning the battle against him and Danny thus far. Of course, that’s not Jason’s fault. He has done nothing but respect Sam’s wishes since he came to town.
He doesn’t reach out to Danny, and when his son shows up in search of him, he discourages contact and reminds him of Sam’s rules. Still, Sam feels there is more Jason could be doing to protect Danny from his risky world, and she may be right.
As danger looks around Jason in the wake of an attempt on his life by Pikeman — aka Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — will Danny become collateral damage in a war Jason never intended to be in?
General Hospital Spoilers — Fatal Foreshadowing?
When Sam went to see Carly in hopes that she would back her up and help her keep Danny and Jason apart, she had no idea what to expect from that exchange.
Still, she wasn’t surprised when Carly refused to come between Jason and his son — nor when Carly chastised her for trying to do so.
Uttering the words that no one should ever say, Sam declared she didn’t want Danny to end up like Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), and we can’t help but wonder whether that’s exactly what is going to happen.
Will Danny be hit by a stray bullet intended for his dad the next time he decides to swing by the coffee warehouse without his mom’s knowledge?
How might it change the track of Jason’s life to lose a child due to the choices he’s made?
