Update Shocking: Here’s What We Know About Sonny And Carly’s Future
Nina who? Apparently, that’s what a lot of General Hospital fans have been saying to themselves lately as there’s a chance that Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos might actually reunite again.
Well, some people might call it wishful thinking while others believe that it’s their destiny. Either way, Sonny’s portrayer Maurice Benard seemed to have an answer about their future. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Here’s What We Know About Sonny And Carly’s Future
The handsome actor took to his Instagram account to share a cute video of him talking to a duck. He actually asked the duck (who was also named Carly) if Sonny and Carly were going to get back together. And wouldn’t you know it, the duck shook her head no at that very moment.
Many of Sonny’s fans commented on the video with, “In all honesty, Sonny and Carly are the best couple because they get each other on a soulful level,” along with “Absolutely! I thought they were going to have a moment the other day at Sonny’s but Nina walked in.”
Back in November, actress Laura Wright, who plays Carly on the hit ABC soap, admitted that her character is doing just fine without Sonny in her life.
She told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “When I first started, Carly wanted Sonny back and her family together with him, no matter what, at all costs. It didn’t happen immediately — she fell in love with Jax for five or six years — and when she finally got back together with Sonny, it was like, ‘Right, this is what it should be.’”
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Carly?
She continued, “When Sonny fell off the bridge and Carly thought he was dead, that was a whole new world.
Sonny had amnesia, but they both had to figure out how to live without the other, and that really was the final shift, I think for Carly [to realize], ‘I can do it on my own.’
So I think the major change or evolution came in the last year and a half, when Sonny was presumed dead and he came back and didn’t choose her and their family.”
