MINUTES AGO: Kelly Monaco Speaks Shocking Out About Her General Hospital Exit

Kelly Monaco continues speaking out after her unexpected exit from General Hospital. Her mom recently revealed on social media that Monaco’s last tape date on the show she starred in for 21 years happened Friday, September 27.

Make It Make Sense

On Sunday, Kelly Monaco posted a photo from her final days on set. She’s pictured with her TV family, the iconic Davis women, Kate Mansi (Kristina), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), and Kristen Vaganos (Molly).

In her message, she wrote, “Last scene with the Davis girls. 😘🥲🙏🏻 still doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Monaco has previously spoken out about her shocking firing. She recently replied to a fan in a post on one of Soap Hub‘s Instagram accounts, saying, “Do your homework.

When Billy Miller was fired, Sam’s storyline stopped. Stripping Sam of every characteristic she had.”

In addition to commenting about how her character had changed over the years, she alluded to the fact she had more to say. “I will give a proper statement. The truth will set you free.”

Monaco started with ABC when she first played Livvie on the GH spinoff Port Charles from 2000 to 2003, specifically during the days when the soap transitioned into supernatural storylines.

After the show’s cancellation in 2003, she moved over to GH that same year.

Ever since, she played Sam McCall, a con artist turned GH leading lady who was part of several epic romances including Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Lucky Spencer (then-Greg Vaughan), Drew Cain (then-Billy Miller), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Currently, Sam is attempting to help clear her mother of false murder charges. Plus, she and Dante are dealing with the presence of a comatose Lulu.
