Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Robyn Brown face another season of this TLC series with a fractured family. But it’s the private life of this couple that seems to fester angst among the other family members.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Dirty Laundry Aired
Kody Brown’s problems with all the women he married became obvious to fans. Especially over the last few Sister Wives seasons. Viewers of this reality show assumed for a long time now that Kody only had eyes for Robyn Brown.
That’s not the exact way Kody put it when coming clean about his feelings for his other wives. But the way he described his other relationships was not the same. It sounds as if he has a different kind of love for them than he has for Robyn.
For many of the Sister Wives fans, his third wife made the most sense. Once this husband of four told her they would no longer share intimate times, she packed up and left.
She also pointed out that building a house on Coyote Pass would be ludicrous for her. She didn’t want to sit in her house as her relationship swirled around the drain.
This would mean at the same time she’d look across the way and see a functioning marriage. And that marriage would include the man she loves.
While she didn’t mention a name, everyone surmised it was Robyn Brown she talked about. This estranged wife didn’t sugarcoat a thing. But she made it clear. She thought too much of herself to set up housekeeping in a location where she would suffer.
Plus, this seemed to open the door for things to come out that might not have before. While fans learn of Kody’s lack of intimacy with his wives, his private life with Robyn seems to become fair game.
Kody Slighted More Than His Wives?
Kody hadn’t been intimate with Meri Brown for more than a decade. This was a surprise when the first wife shared this during a Sister Wives interview. Janelle Brown isn’t as open as Meri or Christine. So, no one knows what her relationship looks like behind closed doors with this shared husband.
Still, Robyn Brown seems to have Kody Brown pretty much to herself. But what about the Sister Wives kids? Christine Brown also talked about her kids and their feelings towards their father.
She said that her kids don’t understand how their father can have favorites. It sounded as if she referred to Robyn’s kids as being those favorites. Fans also pointed this out in the last few seasons.
Fans suggested that Kody even spoke about the kids differently. This seems like more of the private inner workings revealed from Kody’s relationship with Robyn and her kids.
Fans say they saw a difference. Viewers said that when the father of 18 talked to one of the Sister Wives’ mothers about their kids, he referred to them as “your kids.” But when talking with Robyn about the kids they have together, he called them “our kids.”
Sister Wives: New Season Shows the Family Divided?
Christine seemed to start the ball rolling on revealing Kody’s shortcomings. Once she decided to divorce the shared husband other things followed. She shared what her marriage looked like compared to his “functioning marriage.”
Sister Wives Season 19picks up as wife number three makes her move from her husband. So, she may share a lot more as the episodes roll out. It’s been all but confirmed for fans that Kody lives like a monogamous husband these days.
This comes from what the Sister Wives patriarch has said. It also comes from what the wives revealed so far about his lifestyle with Robyn Brown.
Kody seemed rather perplexed when Christine packed up his stuff. He thought she was bluffing when he found his belongings in the garage. Red flags flew for fans. The viewers saw the problems. So, they asked how could the husband of four be that blind to what was going on?
The relationship that Kody has with Robyn seems to create friction for some of the other women in Kody’s life. Then fans learned that friction also trickles down to some of the kids. So, it sounded as if they were just getting started slinging the mud when the last season ended.
It makes sense that even more of this is on the way as the aftermath of losing one wife plays out for Kody Brown. It seems there’s not much privacy left to destroy, or is there?
