Kody Brown is in a financial bind amid the triple divorce

Most Sister Wives fans thought it was a poor financial decision to move the entire family from Las Vegas to Flagstaff. But Kody Brown would not be deterred. And now, it’s all coming back to bite him.

The Sun reports that the family patriarch owes nearly $5,000 in property taxes on the Coyote Pass lots. And since three of his wives left the family, it’s going to be incredibly difficult for him to come up with the money to pay it all off. Christine, Janelle, and Meri all contributed significantly to the family’s assets through their own businesses and projects.

Allegedly, Robyn has never been keen on having a job of her own. Now that it’s just her and Kody, coming up with the money will be a difficult endeavor.

The Sun also shares that Kody and Robyn own a $890,000 mansion on top of the Coyote Pass lots. Now may be the perfect time for the couple to have a yard sale.

The family patriarch alienates the rest of his family

In a situation like this, many people would rely on close family members to help them out. But that also doesn’t seem like a viable option for Kody Brown. As fans have seen onscreen, he’s incredibly estranged from most of his children. After the way Kody has treated most of his adult children, it’s unlikely that they will reach out and offer their father any financial assistance.

At this point in time, it’s not currently known how Kody and Robyn plan to pay off their property taxes. Stay tuned for more information and updates on this unfolding situation.
