General Hospital Spoilers: GH Revives Britt After Sam’s Death, Britt Is Recast!

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that the show desperately lacks levity, sincerity, comic relief, and romances worth rooting for.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Died after Saving Josslyn From “The Hook”

That’s why we need Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Britt “died” after her epic birthday party when she planned on quietly sneaking out of town to spare her loved ones the torture of watching her slowly die from Huntington’s disease.

'General Hospital' Spoilers Liesel saying goodbye to Britt

Even though she ended up valiantly saving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from “the hook” and tragically died in her mother, Liesel Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arms, no one ever stays dead in Port Charles.

It’s possible that Leisel staged her daughter’s death, gave her the antidote to the poison, and arranged for her to have experimental treatment for her illness somewhere far away. She may have asked her mother to tell everyone that she had passed.

Leisel could have pretended that Britt died, but she may be the only one who knows she’s alive. Once Britt discovers that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is alive, she could change her mind about staying “dead.”

Britt and Jason talk

She’ll feel compelled to return to Port Charles to try to see where things go with Jason. Britt and Jason had feelings for each other. Still, after Jason married Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to show a united front with the five families when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was presumed dead, Britt couldn’t return.

Even after Sonny returned and Carly resumed her marriage to Sonny, Britt couldn’t let herself get close to him again. She was too afraid of getting hurt.

But the situation is different now, and if she came back, Britt and Jason could have a real chance at happiness. Britt never got over Jason and was heartbroken when he “died” in the tunnel collapse on Cassadine Island.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: It Is Speculated That Thiebaud Tried To Return To GH

Thiebaud spoke about her character’s demise after Britt’s death. She said that she needed Britt to die so that she could move forward.

Thiebaud said that if she were ever to come back to GH, “It would need to be done in a special way.” Her fans very much miss Kelly, and we need Britt’s unique brand of charm and wit on the canvas.

Plus, Jason needs her. He needs a love interest, and his relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is plagued by animosity because he has stayed away for over two years to keep Carly out of prison.

'General Hospital' Spoilers

Carly is also out of the question since fans seem to enjoy them as best friends and nothing more. Elizabeth Balswin (Rebecca Herbst) is also better as a co-parent to Jason and their son, Jake Webber (Hudson West).

Not to mention, Jason and Britt’s chemistry sizzled. They would be a romance that fans could enjoy and support.

After Kelly left GH, she moved to England. However, she recently returned to the US. It is speculated that Thiebaud tried to come back to the show, but it didn’t work out.

Someone commented on her Instagram post that they thought she would return to GH. “I tried,” was her only response. Hopefully, the powers that be soon realize how much value Britt added to the show and decide to have her return.

What to Expect

The storyline surrounding Britt’s return is being kept tightly under wraps, but it’s expected to intertwine with the aftermath of Sam’s death. Will Britt be stepping back into Port Charles to reclaim her place, or will her return bring new challenges and conflicts? One thing is certain: her reappearance will shake things up in Port Charles.

As GH continues to evolve, the return of Britt Westbourne promises to bring a fresh wave of drama, intrigue, and emotional moments. Fans will be watching closely to see how this new chapter unfolds and how the recast Britt fits into the ever-changing landscape of General Hospital.
