Sister Wives: Clouds Darken for Robyn Ahead of Season 19
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown despises doing the TLC series, what she dislikes even more is watching herself in scenes and then being expected to comment on them.
Tony Padron, Kody Brown’s son-in-law, revealed this in an interview after last season. But, ahead of Season 19, secrets from the now-defunct polygamous marriage make their way to the surface. Another co-wife recently spoke out about wife number four and fans were surprised.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown’s Dark Cloud Gets Darker
Robyn knows she’s long been considered by the fans as the homewrecker of the large polygamous family. She’s commented on this before.
When the Sister Wives series first came to the screen, the co-wives praised this new and younger wife for her communication skills between the five spouses. But it seems back then, to make Kody Brown happy, you also had to make his newest bride happy.
It seems the original three wives learned that early on. Maybe they didn’t even realize all the praise they gave her, but they did. The book they penned several years back is full of nice things they attribute to Robyn.
Praise for Robyn is Hard to Come by Today
While Kody Brown still sees Robyn as his everything, his co-wives and several of the adult kids opened up about their lives with her. Once the three co-wives left their shared husband, they talked. All except for Meri Brown, that is.
But Meri finally offered some thoughts about Robyn in a new interview. So, not only does the now monogamous wife have Sister Wives fans picking her apart, but her co-wives also offered some less-than-stellar thoughts about her.
But today, other than Kody, praise for Robyn Brown seems hard to come by. Meri Brown was once considered her best friend…or was she?
Sister Wives: Tainted Ahead of Season 19?
Janelle Brown and Christine Brown were vocal about their problems with Robyn after they left the family. But Meri Brown was the only Sister Wives bride who kept quiet. The fourth wife monopolizing Kody’s time was the main problem for Janelle and Christine.
Now in this latest interview, Meri weighs in. So, when asked if Robyn wanted her to leave, Meri wasn’t sure about that.
Meri suggested that Robyn looked sad at the thought of her leaving their shared husband. But it seemed “things weren’t matching up” with Kody and his youngest wife were saying at the time.
So, in the last season, Sister Wives fans watched Robyn Brown coax Meri with tales that Kody showed some promise about taking her back. But it seems the youngest wife gave her then-co-wife a false sense of security.
Robyn Not Winning Any Popularity Contest?
Robyn Brown was the target of a lot of ugly fan comments online. But once the original three wives left, two of them almost immediately offered up their true feelings about Robyn. So, it was likely tough hearing stuff from strangers, but then her ex-co-wives added some fuel to that Sister Wives fire.
Finally, Meri, who seemed to protect Robyn up until recently, breaks her silence. Now that has to be a big thorn in Robyn Brown’s side. After all, they called themselves “best friends” for years.
Robyn and Kody kept a low profile during the hiatus between the last season and the upcoming Season 19. Maybe they hoped things would die down. Both became targets of fan mudslinging after they turned into a monogamous couple.
But it just keeps piling on for Robyn Brown, as now Meri Brown’s latest interview offers evidence to what the fans have said all along… Robyn Brown was acting when wanting Meri Brown to stay. They think getting Kody to herself was always the end goal for her on the TLC series.
