General Hospital Spoilers: Ava & Sonny’s Island One-Night Stand – The Betrayal Nina Doesn’t See Coming?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could use some comfort right about now since he’s still angry and hurting over Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) betrayal. The SEC rat revelation and all Nina’s deception definitely took a toll on her marriage to Sonny.
Of course, Sonny also wasn’t happy about all the drama that played out with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so he’s not in a good frame of mind right now.
On top of all that, Sonny saw Nina sharing some close moments with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at Charlie’s Pub, so he certainly looked jealous at the sight of the exes bonding.
Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is still pretty solid at this point, so she’s not a great option if Sonny wants to retaliate by landing in bed with someone.
Ava, on the other hand, might be a different story!
GH fans know Sonny opened his home to Ava in recent weeks for her protection – and although Sonny acted like he wanted rid of her, he probably enjoyed having the company deep down.
Ava made it so Sonny didn’t have to go through this separation from Nina on his own.
Now that Ava and Sonny are going to be dealing with a dangerous threat in Puerto Rico, it could lead to trouble in more ways than one.
Sonny will step up to protect Ava along with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), so he’ll earn her gratitude for that.
With emotions running high, could Sonny and Ava surrender to temptation on the island?
It might be too risky to fly out without assessing this threat properly – or maybe there could be some issue with the plane that keeps Sonny and Ava in Puerto Rico after this threat breaks out.
There could be just as much danger back in Port Charles anyway, so Sonny might put Ava on lockdown in a suite on the island until he can figure out what’s next.
What if one thing leads to another and Sonny hooks up with Ava? It happened before when Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) was conceived, so it could easily happen again.
It would really hit Nina where it hurts if she eventually found out that Sonny slept with one of her only friends!
Nina would never expect Ava to betray her like that, but sometimes temptation just becomes too much to bear.
